Evaporator Replacement

I have a 2004 chevy classic I need to replace the evaporator coil do i need to remove the dashboard to Replace it. Thanks.

Welcome to the forum.:) You have to get the HVAC module assembly out which is a major job/headache on the Classic. Since the 2004 Classic is basically a 5th generation Malibu with the 2.2L Ecotec, you may want to invest in a factory service manual set, widely available on eBay. Any 1997-2003 manuals will do for your purposes.
