noise while turning
hey all.. not too long ago the fool across the street backed up out of his driveway and hit my 98 malibu ls in the drivers side fender. I think theres a possibility he hit my wheel and damaged something because my girl called me today and told me that she's getting a rubbing noise while turning left and only when turning all the way left. I think it could be the cv joint but this is where I need you guys. please if you can give me some possibilities. thanks.

RE: noise while turning
If there was damage to the fender it could be the inner fender liner may be the cause of the rubbing sound. Check the the tire both inner and out side for any scuff marks.
Usually CV joints will make a distinctive " clicking " sound. If the wheel was hit you would likely be noticing a vibration or a pulling to that side.
