2000 Monte Carlo SS AutoTrans overdrive shifts hard/jerky

I have had this car since 2002 and the problem started this summer. My transmissionshifts very hard/jerky thru up shifting from 30mph to 45mph and only after it has been driven about 30 miles:operating temp. I changed the trans filter, fluidand added Lukas transmission fix... still does it. It seems to be the overdrive overheating. My question is there a sensor/controller that could be doing this? What controls the overdrive? Any advise will be welcomed!

You have two solenoids in the transmission that control the shift points. Both are inside the transmission. One is on the side you can get to by splitting the case and the other is up inside the transmission meaning it will have to be taken out for replacement.

Is it the one-two shift or the two-three shift?

First thank you so much for the assistance. Sadly it is the one to two and the two to three, does this mean both sensors or even more problems?
