....Washington State

Hello! Is anyone else freezing and not looking forward to crawling under their Chevy?

Welcome to Chevy I agree this is not the best time to be an outdoor mechanic in the PNW. Even my unheated garage is less inviting as I get older!

Darigold egg crates sure make getting up and down easier and safer.. but I'd take a furniture blanket thrown down on that dry cold cement over a wet mudpuddle filled, dirty, gravelly, poorly-maintained asphalt street LOL!

Time to break out that construction grade propane heater -you know, the ones that look like a rocket - fire that baby up and the whole area will be warm in 4 minutes flat! And as my avatar so aptly glows red, I'll be dragging out that 8' tall propane patio heater as well!!

Heck, I don't need propane heat in my Chevy Jamboree RV when I'm underneath it do I!!?! I'll just retask it's two propane tanks to fuel the heaters for a bit and hopefully the City won't come after me for making more cracks in the street by prematurely warming the permafrost!! hahaha!

I'll be sure to keep my toes another bits back a bit so I don't end up with sunburn... propane heater burn whatever you call that either!! I may even have to strap some blinders on so I don't have to see judgmental Joe or any cranky Karen as they practically ditch their vehicle staring so hard at my hillbilly jalopy!!

Funny thing is when I take the "jalopy" to the coast, everybody's like. oh my gosh it's so cute I want one! I want one! Is it for sale? .. but when I'm in suburbia with it... like Taikoma Lakehood Pukallup.... suddenly I've become a car-thievin, tweakin' vagrant that gets more looks than shorts and flip-flops at a truck stop in January!! I've never had people just walk up and ask me to buy (or if I'm sellin) those blue things that are (strike that) have, have takin over the land! the first time it happened I thought they were talking about viagra! I almost bought some.. almost!

SO! I've got to get this baby fixed and get back to the Coast where my RV transforms into cute when the backdrop is a freezing ocean and sandy beaches! and quickly before any statistics get incorrectly inflated or deflated as the case may be!!!

When I was growing up me Mum and me Daa instilled in me the most basic of rules! You know ..that rule that you pack out what you pack in rule! Seems to me that would apply whether you're camp glamping in suburbia or camp glamping in the woods!

That means you don't leave garbage everywhere when you camp glamp in suburbia in your RV either!!

...and it seems these suburban RVs must have been absent when that lesson was being taught or maybe they didn't have muthers and fadders?? I don't know! but they sure are disgusting with their garbage!! Makes me want to puke! I'm ashamed to even bring my RV into suburbia because so many just make the space that they are borrowing where they're parking their rv filthy and nasty and full of garbage and then just leave it behind for someone else to take care of.... SHAME SHAME SHAME! (okay, wait, I don't want to be breaking any forum rules so nix them last three shames!)

I think the worst part is being lumped in with them when the Joe's and the Karen's start that long gaze down their snout!

So I've got to get this "cute" beast purring again and on the road to the coast ASAP! it'd be nice if the weather would cooperate a little bit... frostbite is not attractive when slicing Christmas turkey!

Get back back to lazy days and barbecues and and offers to buy my little RV instead constantly being badgered to buy the little round blue pills and chase that dragon! I tell you there is nothing that is ever going to make me chase that dragon!
