1994 Chevy Caprice, Ex-CHP car. 172,000 miles on odo, but car recieved a complete re-build at 102,000 miles. This is a Bates car, new engine, trans, differential, suspension, brakes etc. Car is in good overall condition. Engine is PERFECT. Doesnt burn oil, doesnt leak, runs very strong, better then new.

Transmission, this is the only serious problem with the car. It does need a rebuild of the clutches I am told. The trans isnt working like it did when I got it. When you cruise it, it's perfect, bit when you get on it, the transmission doesnt trally want to shift like it did about 300 miles ago. That is why I'm selling the car so cheap.

Body: Good conditon, 2 small dents, nothing major at all, and not really noticeable. All doors and everything shut good and line up perfect.

Interior: Good and complete. Clean.

Suspension: Great, but sounds like some bushings in front need replaced. Just squeeks every now and then. Not bad.

Trans: well ya know

Engine: beyond perfect

Exhaust: Dual Series 40 Flowmasters

I know several cops who still wish they had their 9C1 - LT1 caprice's. Just so others who maybe interested know, does your have the 5.7 LT1 motor or the 4.3 ?
