WANTED: Center Console for a 2001 Chevy G3500 Cutaway with a Diesel
 

Anyone Know Where I Can Get One?
I need the correct Center Console to help complete my G3500 Toy Hauler Project.
I have a 2001 Chevrolet G3500 Cutaway with a 6.5 turbo diesel.

It seems that the engine cover I have is different than the normal Express Van engine cover and that should make the Center Console different as well.
NOTICE: How flat the front surface of the engine cover is and also how long or deep it is too.
It also protrudes more into the passenger space than most Express Van engine covers I've seen.
Not sure if it is important or not. My engine cover does not have any latches that attach to the firewall to hold it in place.
The only thing holding it in place is the strap you see.

I'm NOT 100% sure.. But I think I need the Center Console that has a longer or deeper top section, as seen in the last picture.
I'm not really sure, as my van never came with a console and I don't have anything to compare.

Okay that is a little different. What I would check for these is cutaway van school buses. A lot of those were diesel.

Where are you? FYI - I'm not sure what the center console I need looks like.
I don't have even a damaged one to compare and know what I need.
All I have to go by is the kind of engine cover my 2001 has and it looks different.

It so happens, that I found a picture of one, online, in a Chevy Bus. I was not sure it was the style I needed until today.

The Style Center Console I need, for my 2001 G3500, has an extra tray just in front of the dash.

I need the entire CENTER CONSOLE.
HOWEVER, I just learned that the middle dark section with cup holders and glovebox can be found in other kinds of vans.
That middle section can be used as long as I can also find the large, even at a later date, that is lighter in color section, withthe long tray across the top and put the two sections together to make up what I need.

You can also see that it is longer or deep and sticks out more from the dash and into the passenger area.
