Over the last month it was having trouble with acceleration and was bogging down when stepping up speed up or going up an incline. As long as I speeded up gradually it was OK.

I installed a distributor cap, rotor, timing advance module, 6 plugs and plug wires, all new.

This solved 95% of my problem. It runs smoother, but I think the timing advance is still off. Same problem as described.

Did I miss something or does this need to go to a mechanic?

Thanks for your help.
