HELP HELP HELP how do i install a dual master cyl.
 
hi i have a 1953 chevy belair with a single master cyl.it went bad so i have to change it anyways,,what do i have to do to install a dual master cyl.in its place ,,,a single is expensive for this car ,,and someone said if i went to a newer year like in the 70's and installed it ,that would make my brakes better ,,,but i dont have a clue whats involved with changes it from single to dual ,all i know is its the kind under the floorboard,any ideas ,,thanks ken

if anyone knows im going to try and tackle it tomorrow and sure could use some advice .

this has got to be the very worst website ive ever seen ,,hard to get around in it and no one knows diddly about old cars ,,cya ,,,soon as i figure out how to get out of this mess

you will be a lot cheaper off keeping the old system ,it will cost you quite a bit to retrofit it to the new system. these guy's know a lot about old vehicle's ,they can help .

And besides Kenny, they have ignored a few of my posts as well. Don't get all upset, because they are trying to tell you, in a nice (if not a very silent way)that your problem is either 1. not gonna work or is not fixible or 2. that YOU need to research it more. It's, however, not nice to dis anyone under any circumstance. Right?
