Repainting the dash?

Repainting the dash?
Purchased an '02 Silverado few months back. Someone had a hay day with spray paint and the dash. It is, well, was, the tan color but it looks like it started to peel, revealing a black base. Someone took some spray paint (not even close) and repainted it to a nice brown color, so now I've got a camoflauge dash. Any recommendations on 1) what to remove the paint with and 2) what to use to repaint it (and how to somewhat match the original color so the dash matches the rest of the interior panels)?
Thank you.
Thank you.

RE: Repainting the dash?
An auto paint store will have the correct color of your original dash in a spray paint can, I used when I installed my gauges on a pillar pod and it matched perfectly. Just bring in all your trucks info- year etc... and ask them what to use to strip and prep the surface.

Painted my Chev Camaro in purple by myself and now it has some chips. Advise me how much repaint will cost?
