1982 s10 2.8 transmission dust cover.
 

Hey guys. So I have a 1982 2.8 with the Isuzu s101 transmission. While I was under the truck I noticed the trans dust cover is missing and I can't find one anywhere. First question is will the one for the Borg Warner t5 work. If not What can I do. Like I said I can't find one anywhere. Any input will be greatly appreciated.

Are you talking about the skid plate on the frame, or the bell housing on the torque converter?

the cover that goes between the engine and transmission. When I look under the truck I can see almost all of the flywheel and I can see the starter gear where it contacts the flywheel

That would be the bell housing, at least on a RWD vehicle. Have you checked RockAuto?

yep. no one not even junk yards have it. the only one I can find is the one for the Borg Warner t5 transmission.

You don't state your location. Larger cities have larger junkyards.
Either that or find a parts truck. Sometimes you get lucky, and find
a similar Y/M/M with a blown engine for cheap.
