1999 S10 2.2L 4cyl died while driving, now won't turn over
120k miles, spark plugs replaced ~1k miles ago
On and off for several months I had been having trouble starting my truck- it would take multiple attempts, and in a few cases wouldn't start at all (last happened ~1 month ago). The last time it ran, while I was driving I noticed a faint clicking sound coming from the engine compartment. A few miles down the road my truck stalled and then wouldn't start. It sounded like it *almost* turned over on its own, but even with a jump it wouldn't start. My battery was 7yrs old and upon testing it needed to be replaced. I replaced the battery but it still won't turn over. It sounds like the fuel pump is turning on when I turn the key. |
did u every get it fixed

The fuel pump may be working, but is it giving you enough fuel pressure. If the pressure isn't high enough, it wont run.
