383 too much for a 91 s10?

I've got an extended cab s10. I'm building the motor right now and i'm wondering if i should leave the bored 350 alone, or go ahead with the 400 crank for my 383.

I'd go for it. No shame in having a stroker!

Do it... Yo can never have to much...

burticushurticus February 22nd, 2010 5:22 PM

haha don't get me wrong, i definately want a stroker, but should i be worried about alot of wheel hop with that much horse?

You can get just as much HP out of the 350 bored, what you gain in the stroker is torque. So it's all in the gearing and suspension, as far as wheel hop goes.

they make traction bars and ladder bars for wheel hop :D:D

do it... motor can never be too much u will always want more!!! plus to get 383 u have to stroke it and bore it .030 over

I dont think there is such a thing as too much motor......do the 383......It'll put a smile on your face :D
