99 S10 tailgate problem
 

Hi, this is my first post.

I have a problem with the release handle on my S10 pick-up. The older the truck has gotten and the more often the tailgate is opened, the handle sticks out further and further. It now sticks out a little over an inch from the rest of the tailgate. Is there an easy way to fix this or is it something I'll just have to live with?

Mine does the same, IDK how to fix it
