Front Diff Not Engaging
Hello! I have a 2000 Chevy S10 ZR2. I am having trouble getting 4wd to engage. The front drive shaft is turning when I put the truck on jack stands and push the button. There is a vacum switch under the battery that get's the vacum from the transfercase. The vacum switch does not move when 4wd is engaged. I am assuming I would be able to see it move to engage the differential. Has anybody had this issue before?
Thanks! Jeff |

RE: Front Diff Not Engaging
So i fixed the issue. The vacuum plunger under the batter had a tear in it. I replaced it with one from NAPA and it works great now!
