S-10 '92 electric/electronic problems
Greets from Poland!
I have the 92' US Blazer S-10 Sport Full size (the longer version). What's not working:
1) the engine heat indicator is off or maximum (i've mounted the independent sensor - bypassed the old one)
2) whole left down quarter of the display (digital version) is dead.
3) the one speaker is randomly dead (probably broken, but... not sure about that)
4) the beeper (this one which beeps when the ignition is on and the doors are opened) was beeping all the time so i've removed it
5) i have a button (for the bottom lights) and some kind of roller on the central armrest and it's not working (i guess); the button was bypassed and there's another button for these light but the original button is very hot!
6) the tempomat is down - i don't know what is it called, the thing in the left lever that preserve the speed to be set and forget...
7) the engine is dead sometimes When i turn the key there's no sound. After some try the engine goes on.
I left the vehicle in the electromechanical specialist but there's problem because i know that in this one the car, there's the connector for the diagnostic purposes (it's http://www.corvettephotographs.com/c4vettes/codes.htm - i don't remember if it's for 12 or 16 pins) and he have the software only for the '95 and above Chevy's. Maybe You can point some potential issues just looking on the symptoms.
I'd be very grateful for any advice.
Regards!

Greetings from the USA.
Wow, you have some problems alright, Its hard to diagnose things like this over the internet. Kinda seems like the car was submerged under water at one point. I take it no Chevy dealers near you? You need a good tech to look at it. Good luck!

Unfortunately the Polish division of GM/Chevrolet supports only the European/Taiwan version. Are there so big differences between the US and Taiwan version? Anyway i've called to the GM/Chevy US Help Line to report the issue: that in the Polish departments were no support for me and the consultant said that he's very sorry (etc.) and that my feedback will be forwarded to the superior body of the CE area - anyway i doubt that anything has been changed.
Curiosity: the Polish GM/Chevy central is used for the training purposes and they have no technical section at all.
The electromechanical engineer is very talented and the's collaborating with some programmer which is responsible for creating the corresponding automotive software. He will do the overall diagnostics and if there'll be some strictly mechanical issue, he'll deliver the Chevy to friend of my father - he has about 30 years of experience repairing he US cars (especially the odltimers and muscle cars)! So i'm quite sure that everything will be ok!
I know that i have to replace the cupola, high voltage cables and finger (?! - the thing that goes under the cupola) but i have no idea where to get those parts. Maybe some advice?
I guess that less/more professional name rof the finger and cupola is Accel Cap and Rotor Kit or Distributor Cap (it looks similar to http://www.sobimax.pl/allegro/Kopulk...01.306.249.JPG)
