Stalling at stops

I have a 94 s10 2.2l 2wd. Starts up and runs fine. After it warms up it wants to stall at stop lights, unless I keep my foot lightly on the gas. If I take my foot off the gas it stalls. If I am driving, it accelerates and drives fine. I cleaned the IAC, it had carbon on it. Still doing it. Any ideas?

Sounds like the tcc solenoid. Unplug it first if you can. You'll lose fuel economy, but it will stop stalling for now.

Everything from that link shows an automatic transmission, my truck is a manual transmission.

I am leaning towards heavy cleaning of the throttle body, clean the iac again and ohm test the iac. Just seems even when it doesnt stall after the engine warms up, it still idles low. Thoughts?

Oops, sorry, you didn't say in the original post, and you don't mention your mileage. Sounded like classic tcc solenoid. UGH..

Have you done any research on loose main bearing end play that would cause a stall?
