Stuck in 4 LO

Hello new to this Forum as of today. I have a 2000 Blazer that is stuck in 4 Low. Mine has the 4 Auto, 2 HI. neutral. 4 hi and 4 low buttons. When I tried to get it out of 4 low I put it in neutral and pushed the 2 Hi button and did hear some clicking like it was trying to shift out of 4 low but it stayed in 4 low. Now there is no lights on the switches and it just says to Service 4wd.

Any ideas as to where to start the repair?

I had to replace the controler that mounts in the transfer case. Black plastic looking thing tube shape. Works fine now.

Relaced that but it didnt help, turns out the pigtail to the tccm wasnt making a good connection and everybump would cause the lights to go nutts and lock into 4low if i stopped to switch from drive to reverse, waiting till this weekend so i can grab one out of a junk yard, pigtail and tccm

We had the same issue with our 2000 blazer. It turned out to be the computer control switch that is located on the top of the transfer case. Once that was replaced it ran fine. Good luck.
