Cheyanne was not always a border jumper either. Used to be a downgraded basic Silverado. Cruze is garbage as it's made in Mejico too.

Clean it up, it it with WD-40 or something like it. Inspect unit and you will find the correct tabs to push/pull. Install using dielectric grease and you'll be good to go.

Good. Diesels can gel up, and don't belong on non-commercial vehicles unless you know how to take care of them. Should use the 2.5-liter LCV non-turbo IMO.
