1995 Silverado z71 Ext. cab
 

I recently got my first truck! When we got it, cylinders 4 and 6 were losing compression, my dad is a mechanic for ~30 years so he expected it was just a quick change of a head gasket and it would be ready to go. Upon tearing down the motor we found this

We then decided it would be cheaper and easier to just get a new engine for the truck, so last weekend my dad found me 350 chevy engine with 55k miles on it for 200$ (it was in a wreck) and we put it in the next day. Now she runs like a beauty and sounds great to! Here is some pictures of the engine swap.

I have also installed a sound system including 4 12" Rockford Fosgate t1's powered by 2 1200 watt alpine v12 amps, 220amp H/O alternator and a D5100R XS Power agm battery. Also got me a new Soundstream VR-769NB Deck, but have not been able to install it because i cannot find a dash kit for it.
