Default 1985 Caprice Classic 8 Cly 4BL Fuel Line

I tried replacing my fuel filter but I twisted the fuel line and it broke off. I can not find a replacement line anywhere.
Ive looked at junk yards but only found 1983 and 1987.
Im not sure what to do and or if these years are compatible.

Help?? The line is now completly broken off.

If you want to take the easy way out, you can use some rubber fuel line with hose clamps. Cut away the bad section and replace with the rubber fuel line. There looks like there may be enough on the end near the carb, if not you can get a new fitting. You can also get some steel line and make it yourself.

Along with the reply, cut the end off a new line, and clamp it to the existing steel line with fuel rated rubber hose, and two clamps

The repair fitting you would need should be dorman/help 43075 male inverted flare to 3/8 hose fitting and do as the above posters mentioned.

Hope this helps.
