Default 2016 silverado factory remote start

I got 2 remote starts that came with the truck from the factory. One works just fine and the other when I go to start it the lights light on the truck light up to indicate the truck should be starting but it doesn't turn on. Everything else works so I know the batteries aren't dead. Has anyone else had this problem or know why?

My guess would be the remote battery is weak/bad/dying;
try putting the good battery in & trying the command start & functions.

My dads did that,
the doors would unlock,
but not enough power to use command start!!

(& could be your car battery is weak, or alternator, my dad says)

or... it could be programmed wrong, & have a safety thing so you can't use command start with that remote.
i have heard of that too.
