Default Life expectancy of a Tenth gen Suburban

I know this has been asked before but the ones I found were talking about the the ninth gen and older. I have a growing family and could really use a full size SUV. I can not do the cost of a new one so looking at the 10th gen ones probably around 100k. I was hoping some of you will have some experience with them and if it is worth getting around that part of their life. thanks for yalls time.

Sorry I guess I should clarify more. different sites have different info. the one I was looking at had the 10th gen as 2007 to 2014. I just started seeing some sites saying the 2000 to 2006 was the 10th but they are a little older then the ones I am looking for. sorry for the confusion.

So do you feel that an 09 is worth getting if it's a little pass 100k milage?

Depends on what you are paying for it mostly and what a little less than 43,271 more millage left is worth to you. Life expectancy is 143,271 miles with a cracked dash.

Ok there was some sites that was showing the 10th gen as 2000-2006. I was hoping that was the ones he said was dying around that mileage and that they had fix the problem by 09.

i have a 07 with 160K cracked dash but put a dash cover over it lol. it depends on how well it was taken care of before you. luckily the one i bought had a lot of service records on carfax and they were consistant on oil changes and such,

10th gen is 07-14. I sold my 2000 with a little over 200,000 miles for 2k and most likely could have got more if I was more patient. Still better than the 1k the dealer wanted to give me.
