2003 Trailblazer LS Power Steering Issue
Hello,
I purchased a 2003 Trailblazer December 2019. Great car, very happy with it!
Started her up this morning to go to work, and the steering feels a little "stiff". Came to my first turn, and behold, it's like old school rack & pinion, no power steering. Checked fluid and it is full, no leaks. Took it to a local garage who inspected it and said there is an issue with the rack & pinion assembly and they are giving me an estimate. Prior to this there have been no issues whatsoever with the steering and no indications of an issue. I parked in my driveway when I got home from work, and started her up this morning to leave, and boom.
Anyone else ever have this issue? Wondering if any known issues or if this is something I may be able to tackle myself.
TYIA!
