Default 94 G20 gas gauge

Mine just quit working. I spent all of last weekend replacing my serpentine belt pulleys (1 was bad) heater hoses, radiator hoses, thermostat, radiator flush, engine flush and air filter. I took my sweet time to do a meticulous job and about mid week the gas gauge quit. I have no idea where to look. I beat on the gas tank with a ball bat but that didn't help. Any ideas?

Sounds like the sending unit died. Check the circuit if you don't want to drop the tank and replace first. Only other possibility I can think of is the gauge broke. Sending unit and gauge are both moving parts the former being subjected to a not so friendly environment at all times, my money is there.
