Allison Transmission Pressure Relief?
I have a 2002 GMC 3/4 ton truck with an 8.1L engine & Allison transmission. The last several times I've towed my boat over a steep grade the transmission has blown tranny fluid all over the undercarriage of the truck and bottom of my boat.
* I think it happens on the downgrade
* Happens when using tow/haul and when not using tow/haul
Any ideas?
