Default 04 chevy 2500hd 6.0l no crank

Somebody please help. I have a 04 chevy 2500hd with a 6.0l in it. I hit the key to start it and all it does is click, I have changed the starter out, changed both batteries, the ignition switch like the dealer said was wrong and still it won't crank. If I jump the starter, it starts but shuts down right away like the ignition switch isn't in the run position. Please help and thanks in advance.

Have you had the alternator tested?
Also starter circuit relays in the power control center?

Well, if you have a clamp on amp probe check the current draw with it jump started, and running. How much current draw is there with it running, and jumpered?

If you truly have the voltage at the starter it should start unless you have a sever voltage drop. Take the battery bolts out look at them very good. Double check all the fuses with a test light. They almost always blow a fuse or 2 when the switch fails. Did The dealer actually look/ test the truck? Do have a DVOM (meter)?
