1990 GMC Sierra 1500 Problems

It has the 5.7 350 motor with the 700r4 transmission.I just got it running recently so its been sitting for a couple months.I replaced the plugs and the fuel filter when i got it running a couple days ago.it drove so good and all of sudden today i was going to town and i got to a stop light and it kills starts back up and idles fine i put it into drive it just kills.i had to rev it up in neutural and put it into drive to get it going.I was told that the TCC solenoid's go bad so i unplugged that and didnt make a difference. it starts up and idles fine but once you shift it it will kill. I really need some help cause its really bothering me that i can drive it or figure what it could be so any help would be great thanks.

Is your engine light on at all? It could be your TPS, FPR, Injectors. You just need to check the things that control the air, fuel, spark.

It will be hard to troubleshoot this because your truck doesnt have OBDII but I would start with fuel pressure and timing
