1996 Silverado Headlight UPGRADE

2 Attachment(s)
I have a 1996 Silverado C1500 Extended cab 2 wheel drive with 5.7L. It has the NOTORIOUS yellow light syndrome. I had thought about since they're so old, still original, that while I was dealing with the yellowing I'd look at possibly just upgrading for better quality lighting all around, like with HID kit. (bulbs, ballasts, etc.) However, it is a 96 and I know with buying headlights without the upgrade kit, it could get rather expensive, IF I COULD FIND ONE. Any CHEAP BUT QUALITY GOOD IDEAS? I've enclosed a picture of the whole front-end and a picture of a close-up of the actual headlight. I do believe that their's 2 seperate lights. One for the regular beam and one for the high-beam. Somebody feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, because I haven't torn them apart to actually check.
