It is a V6 and will not start.I put a fuel pressure gauge on the rail that runs around the back of the motor.Turn on the key 60 to 64 psi it holds that for about 2secounds and starts falling off.It would not even try to start.After checking everything the last was the cam sensor in the dist.I replaced it and now it trys to start but wont.I can put a small amount of fuel in the throat (top of the motor) and it starts right up and runs until it runs that small amount of fuel then dies.While it is running on that small amount of fuel the fuel pressure guage has 60lbs.If I have fuel pressure on that rail why am I not getting fuel to the throttle body.Thanks in advance for any input.

hi im new to this forum but have some mechanical experience and the first thing i would check now would be your fuel filter. Change that and see what happens.

Check the crankshaft sensor. If they go bad your computer doesn't even know your truck is trying to start. Which could explain why you have fuel pressure but no fuel delivery.
