2001 Chevy silverado starting issues
So i have a 2001 chevy silverado 5 speed. For two weeks now i have not been able to get the truck to run. I have replaced the starter and the clutch switch and nothing. I am able to pop start the truck and it will run fine. I turn the key and have full power just nothing happens or any noises?
Please help as im ready to light this thing on fire.... |
Welcome to the forum.:) There's a starter motor relay in the underhood fuse block. Verify that it makes a clicking sound while someone else tries to start the engine. If it doesn't, maybe the relay is bad or it's not getting power to the relay coil from the ignition switch through the clutch pedal position switch. If it does, verify battery voltage on both sides of the 40A IGN A fuse.
