Default 2004 silverado electrical problem?

Truck started with no problem. noticed the instrument cluster was not working. All gauges read zero. No oil pressure, no fuel gauge, no tach, no speedometer, etc. Radiio would not turn on. no power locks. Drove to store, truck ran like normal. turned engine off. upon return, engine would not start. Acted like no fuel. I know there is half a tank. I think I can hear the fuel pump priming when I turn the key. Engine will not start. Help.

Edit: I just read where a faulty knock sensor could be the issue. Any thoughts?
