2006 Silverado 5.3 Performance Questions
So I have a 2006 Silverado Crew Cab Z71 and I wanted to modify it to get some extra power out of it. As of now Ive installed a K&N Cold Air Intake system and installed a custom dual exhaust system with pacesetter headers. Withing the exhaust system I have two hi-flow catalytic converters and two dynomax bullet mufflers. This is what I have now and I have seen a great power boost from stock though what else can I do? Im considering getting it cammed, but Im concerned with the fuel economy and how thats gonna play. How much of an effect can it have on performance and how will it mess with my fuel economy?
Thanks.
Thanks.

If it were me, I would leave it like that, those are good mods. You might be working on it alot more if you start modding inside the motor.
Do you have any pictures of the stuff you already did to it? I am debating on getting headers for my 02 6.0

Quit screwin' around. Go to the local Airline junkyard and get a jet engine. It'll take a few radical mods, but hey, it's 2200 HORSEPOWER! That's what we all really need, isn't it? Sure you'll only get about 10 gallons to the mile, but , POWERRR!!
Google Artie Arfons. Best of luck.
