Default 2007 2500 classic makes knock when turning left

Hello all and thanks for any help.

I have a 2007 2500 classic that makes a knock then slightly turning to the left. It will do this when going 5 mph or 60 mph. Same sound regardless of speed. It will not do it when stopped which is making it hard to figure out. It sounds like it is coming from the front right side of the pickup. All tie rods feel tight. Does not make any sound when turning to the right.

Could it be a CV issue beings the pickup has to be moving?

Thank you,

It may be a CV issue. Do you have any aftermarket equipment installed on the vehicle (i.e. step assist bars)?

I had this problem with one of my other trucks and it was the CV boot. You may want to get that checked out before it gets any worse.

Louis,

I do have a 3" Skyjacker lift installed. I don't know why I didn't write that down when I initially described my pickup. It is getting worse however I just my pickup for work (I farm) and it has been a hectic week to where I did not have time to get it in the shop. This week I will look into it.

Thank you for your replies.
