2007 2500 HD buying advice

I am looking at buying a 2007 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD Extended cab standard bed. It is a bare bones work truck packaged, vynil seats, rubber floor, crank window, base radio etc, but does have the tow package and factory modulator and a brand new set of tires. It has the 6.0 V8 with the 6 speed HD auto transmission. It has 114000 miles on it which is alot but it is in better condition than 20,000 miles trucks ive seen. no body damage or scratches, no surface rust on nuts and bolts, very clean underneath, inside is perfect. Clean under the hood too and everything is working as it should. It also has a Warn Transformer grill guard/winch mount with a Warn 12,000 pound winch. Has a light bar and spot lights on the back, along with a tool box. He is asking 17,999 for it. I just was wondering if theres anything with that year and what you all think about the price on it. Feel free to ask any further questions and leave any advice! Thanks and have a good day. Also it is the new body style like an 2009 2500 HD Silverado would be, not the older body style

Any and all advice or things about these trucks, not even year specefic, would be greatly appriciated. I have only ever been around 80's-90's Chevy trucks and dont know anything about all of the newer things or alot about these trucks but its a Chevy so I trust it. Any advice, information etc would be greatly appriciated. This is also my first truck, and am going to look at it for the second time tommorow or maybe in a few days and possibly buy it.
