2007 2500 HD License Plate Bracket
 

I just bought a 2007 Silverado 2500 HD....My wife owns a 2006 Suburban. As we all know, the front bumpers on these trucks come to a shallow point in the center. Putting a license plate on the front causes the plate to bend out in the center. Some of these license plates are die-cut and are like a puzzle and when the plates bends out then all the pieces of the puzzle fall out. So...does anyone know of an aftermarket licens plate holder for these vehicles. I called the Chevrolet dealer and they said chevy does not make the bracket for these model year trucks. They claim that they have told GM about this problem but GM doesn't seem to care. I know of little tricks to fix this problem but before I go that route, I was just wondering if anyone knew of an aftermarket part. Thanks in advance. Sorry for the long post.

1st where did you get your 07 2500 havent even got one in yet.....and 2nd check in Canada....more so British Columbia dealers, it is LAW here to have front plates..so GM sends us brackets for all our vehicles that fit to front bumpers molded...as of 07 GM is not sending brackets to anywerhe it is not law to have them...for example Alberta do not get front plate brackets...

In Canada anyhow...as far as I know no where in the States requires front plates

Thanks for the information....I'll start searching those areas you mentioned. I got my 2007 2500 HD fromChevrolet Cadillac of Goldsboro in North Carolina. They had the truck for about 3 months. I actually test drove it two months ago but decided not to buy it then. Then last week, the rebate hit and the truck had been reduced in price. So far I like it.
