2011 Silverado with problems

So, I noticed a sound in my steering column that sounded like I didn't have any power steering fluid. I checked, and it was bone dry. Upon inspection at a local garage, I found the following information:

It is leaking from both ends within the boots. The ds boot is full and has been leaking more than the ps. It also appears to be leaking from the input shaft where the steering shaft goes in. Just also noticed that the transmission pan is starting to leak as well. There is trans fluid hanging on some of the pan bolts. We thought at first it may be power steering fluid blowing back but this is not the case. The front pan bolts and one bolt on the ds of the trans has fluid hanging on the bolt. This leak will only get worse. Not really acceptable for a 2011 truck with only 43000 miles.

So, needless to say, I'm having to take my truck to a certified dealer. However, my warranty was up at 36,000. Anyone had similar issues? If so, we need to get a recall going!
