305 Computer Chip

I want to switch a 1990 305 into my 1991 k1500 silverado, but I heard that the computer chip has to be changed. I'm not sure if it does or not. The truck did have a 350 in it but no longer does and the 305 is out of a camaro. If the computer must be changed how do i do it. If not please tell me. Thanks

I HAD A 6 IN FIRST RUNNING OFF A 305 CHIP NOW I GOT A 350 RUNNING OFF A 305 CHIP ITS LITTLE ROUGHT AT IDLE
IF YOUR PUTTING A ENGINE IN GET A COMPUTER FOR THAT ENGINE ITS BEHIND THE GLOVE BOX I THINK IT IS IN MINE
