94 Chevy 1500 Wiper failure
 

I'm having issues with the drivers side windshield wiper.

The drivers side wiper linkage keeps coming off where it connects to the linkage at the passenger side.

I reconnected it 3 times. It looks like something may be missing. Is there supposed to be a bushing or anything where the two pieces connect?
