94 K2500 Starts then Stalls after few seconds

Truck starts and stalls after a few seconds. I can keep it running by feathering the throttle, but runs very rough. Fuel seems to be cutting out. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Some history: The power wire from the battery to the starter broke off at the starter terminal. So touch the wire to the starter terminal and it started and ran fine. Finally got some spare time, so I decided to swap the wire with a new one. In doing so, the terminal on the starter solenoid broke off, so I swapped the starter with a spare I had laying around. Now the truck starts and runs for a few seconds and stalls.

Since then, I have replaced the TPS, CTS, Fuel Filter, Fuel Pump Relay, Ignition Switch, Fuel Pump(ugh). I have verified the EGR valve is not stuck.

Could I have messed something up changing the starter? Seems unrelated, but truck ran fine before. Next I was thinking of replacing the ignition control Module?

Any thoughts?

Did you disconnect the battery when replacing the solenoid wire?

Solved the issue. The ground strap from the firewall to the frame was broken.
