97 Silverado 350. Stock FI or Aftermarket FI

97 Chevy Silverado 350 v8

I saw this and was wondering if this would allow the engine to run smoother, maybe more throttle response or anything else good?

From everything I've read, yes it's an improvement over the stock injectors. Search for "spider injectors" and you'll get many comments for the newer style injectors and the benefits. I believe the original "poppet" style injectors were prone to clogging and the system was less efficient overall. I had a problem with my number 4 cylinder injector not working so I replaced mine with this style. It runs very well but I don't know that I can tell much difference. Other folks with more sensitivity to changes in their engines may be able to give you a better response.

Good luck with your research and I hope a few more experienced folks add their observations.

hmm interesting. Thank you!

Could be something I can do down the road. Im fixing up an engine to put in another truck im getting and was thinking of replacing the injector system with this but im also on a tight budget.

Thanks!
