Default 98 Silverado Tail Light and Blinker Problems

Can you guys help me with a problem that I'm having with my truck?

My tail lights do not work neither do my brake lights except for the third light. My reverse lights do not work either. My blinkers work fine (at a normal speed and light up in the back) except for when I either turn the lights on or press on the brakes and then they blink faster. The blinkers do light up on the tail lights (thats the only thing that will light up)

I have checked the fuses and they are fine and I have replaced all 6 back bulbs.

Any suggestions?

The wires for that run the length of the truck can easily get crimped or rub off the wire sleeve. This seems like a common problem considering it happened to mine and i just responded to one just like this the other day. Same thing i told him would follow the wires from bulbs all the way to front of truck. Look for any exposed wires that could be grounding out. If you think you found the problem tape it up and see if you get power to harness. Let us know if you get it and hopes this help you out.

The tail lamps and backup lamps all share a common ground. Take the bulb out of one lamp socket and then measure the continuity to ground on the BLK wire. I suspect it won't be connected to the ground.

These sockets also tend to get corroded and not make good connection with thew bulbs. I have run into this on many occasions.
