any issues with running HID in both high and low beams of nbs?
Ok, wanna put HIDs in both my high and low beams of an 08 Silverado. I noticed my wife's car with just the HIDs in her low beams are warm. Just wanted input from someone that HAS done it to both, run with both on for a time, and if there are any issues with the lens housing.

I have lowbeam xenon hids 55w bulbs and mine do not get hot. www.hidkitxenonlights.com
Im about to put high beams in also. Are you asking if they would get hot running them at the same time? I dont see how you can run with both of them on at the same time anyhow or why you would want to do that. talk about blind someone.

On my truck, when I turn on the high beams on, the low beams stay on. So I have all four bulbs on at one time (both pairs of low beams and both pairs of high beams). I know this normal as my previous 08 silverado did the same thing. So my concern is, is that if I put all HIDs in my truck, Will the HIDs be too hot for the housing.
Just wondering if someone has already done this and what was the out come.
I plan on putting the 35 watt 6k bulbs. (I believe this is the normal HID kits that my local dealer installs in cars)

So I'm hoping and not just sell me something to make a buck. Thus my post, I find it hard to believe that NO ONE has done this and can chime in...

lots of people have done it. Some people do the 6-hi mod where when they turn the highs on to use the HIDs, the fogs stay on to. Essentially having 6 HID's goin down the road. Use 35 watt and they should be fine.
