Battery dead suddently
 
I have a 98 k1500 runs great, all of a sudden battery is dead. Will start in the morning then dead after 5 mins in the store. New battery, well taken care of truck. Codes are Po305
Po325
Po161
any ideas!?

get your battery+alternator load tested. It's free at most part stores.

Got a 98 K-1500 myself. The frakking interior engine bay light was stuck on all the time. Took the bulb out.

"I don't need no stinking engine bay light" :D

Carry a high-intensity police light on my belt and a Dewalt 18volt drill/flashlight in the cab, along with my .45.
