Brake lights don't work

Brake lights don't work
A friend of mine has a 1993 Silverado (V8) where the brakes lights just quit working. One bulb was blown and replaced, but this did not correct the problem. I've tested the brake light switch where one pair of leads open and close when the switch is operated, but I need the wiring diagram to know what the other leads go to.
I've also tested the brake lights from the harness in the rear and they work there. Besides the brake light switch, what else could be a problem?
Thanks

any local library should have chilton with a diagram. fusible links are aslo abundant in those wirings. humidity may condense in the housing and then life goes sour.

in that year the white wire on the switch controls lights it runs up into the column to the blinker cam switch and comes out from there are you gettin power for the brake lights at the light itself? could also be the circuit boards on the lights i had to change several on my 89 pretty much the same oh yea the orange on the switch is the power feed for the switch

RE: Brake lights don't work
Someone else looked at the truck and mentioned something about something in the steering column. I wasn't there during the conversation, so I only have bits and pieces. Could there be something in the column or turn signal mechanism that could cause just the brake lights not to work?
