Broken lower shock mount

I just noticed my passenger side lower shock mount on the axle tube is mangled pretty bad. It looks like an old wound and I just recently bought this truck. It is a 2000 chevy silverado 5.3L 4x4. Does anyone know where I can get a mount like this? Is a junkyard the only place, or can they be bought new. I only noticed it, because I am going to be changing my stock rear shocks to bilsteins, but I do not want to damage the new shocks. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

Here are some pics of the shock mount. The clear picture is from the rear of the truck and the darker picture is from infront of the rear tire. It looks like it may be able to be heated up and bent back into shape, not sure though. Sorry it took so long for the pics...working.

wound !

kinda looks like they dropped off the pavement and snagged it on the concrete !
i would just carefully heat it and straighten it as best as you can be careful of the fuel tank ,i beleve this is a welded bracket on the axel housing .
i think it would beeasier to get a replacement axel out of the scrap yard than a weldment bracket from gm .but you can look around the places on the net that sell replacement part's for the body and collision industry look deep enough and you might find something .
