Default Chimes not working

So I'm trying to install a stereo in my 03 3500. I figured out how to get the bose amp turned on. Is there any way to get the door/light chines to work again?

buy a aftermarket chime module or wire the old radio back into the class 2 data lines and speaker. I've seen cars with the oem radio wired in and put in a remote location, like the trunk.

The chimes come out of the driver's side speaker. Check that out.

Tell me about it. I found aftermarket setups. but cheap as I am I'm not shelling out $50 just to get them back.
