Correct upper radiator hose (1995 Silverado)
Hello all!!
I hava a 1995 1500 Silverado ext cab z-71 4x4 with a 5.7 and an auto and I am having a time finding the correct upper radiator hose. Truck has a 34" radiator best I can tell.
I have tried numerous hoses (given by parts place) and none seem to fit like the old one and rest in the little bracket formed into the fan shroud.
Some have even been "cut to fit" and they too will not rest in the retainer on the shroud.
I can make something work, but would really like to stay with the OEM layout as this is a pasture truck and I hate to have all that hose and water being supported by the radiator neck.
Anyone still have the OEM hose with numbers on their truck? I'll buy a new one from GM if thats what it takes to get the correct one.
Thanks all!
