Debadging truck, opinions
Thinking of debadging my my 01 silverado, not sure if i should or not though. Any one else do it and have pic's so I can decide easier.

I see it all the time, it gives it a nice clean look if thats what you're going for. If my truck were a Z71 I would do it myself but my truck is just a w/t and the whole tailgate says "Chevrolet" painted (or decaled) on
I'm not really sure what i'm going for i'm just getting bored with it and trying to find cheap and easy things to do to it to keep customizing and making it different.
I've done it to mine. Love it
I started the debadging process this afternoon so far only got the tailgate and 1500 emblems off but i must say i like the clean look already. Now just have to get them black side moldings off.
There any tricks to the black side moldings? Those are being a kind of a pain. The adheisive seems to be a different type then the emblems were held on with.
They won't come off? did you run fishin string behind the emblem to separate it from the glue then use the wheel to take the actual glue off your truck?

Well i got them all off now, just couple of them gave me a real hard time. Guess what do ya expect when the glues been on there for 11 years. I love it now that i have it all done, looks nice and clean.

Now get some esky handles up front(if you don't mind chrome) and paint the one on the back
