Driveline in 2hi

I have a 2002 Z71 5.3 Silverado.

I am in 2hi according to my led light on my dash controls, but my front driveline to my front differential is still turning. Is this normal for my truck?

Yes it is ok for your front driveline to be turning in 2 wheel drive.
