So I was browsing AutoTrader the other day and found an 06 Silverado 3500 4x4 that the owner claimed has the Z71 off road package on it. Did GM produce the 3500 duallys with the Z71 package?

Unfortunately I am pretty sure they did, I've seen a few my self IRL. GM really destroyed the Z badge when they started slapping Z's on everything and anything Including but not limited to the Z-71 badge. They are pretty rare to see and I think that is because a lot of people feel the way I do and that it's one of the most retarded things they could have done. In fact I saw an ad somewhere a couple days ago for a 2014 2500HD Z-71...Wish I could remember where I saw it, I'd try to screencap it.

When I was a kid it was all Ohhhhit's the Z-71 Chevy, now it's just another pickup. It's strange I actually stripped the Z-71 badge off the sides of my truck because it just has no meaning any more, it's just a set of tires, skid plate, shocks and a couple other minor knick knacks from factory, most of them having been replaced within the first five years of life.


But anyway...But yeah, I think they did exist

lol, If I was not worried about GM coming down on me for copyright infringement I could make that somewhat cool, by cutting some girlies out of the 4's. I actually have the design for 88-98 OEM style 4x4 with nekkid chicks in it for sht's and giggles saved on my vinyl cutting software. It's not something I am going to use but I have it.


It kinda works too because I chuckle every time I look at the bed of my recently bought donor truck since it has that design of 4x4 decals, I can just see it looking at the OEM sticker.

But yeah, I agree, 4x4 is one of those decals that is kinda dumb. This coming from a guy who sells generic 4x4 decals.

Another really dumb sticker is "Off-Road" I saw on the side of a Ford F-350 crew cab with an 8' bed... Off Road?? Really LOL

Its about the same as putting racing stripes on a Prius.
